Why Superloaf? A delicious, high-fibre wholemeal sliced loaf with secret superpowers. We all know vegetables pack a powerful punch. They feed a healthy gut, support the immune system and all kinds of other invisible feats. But most of us would still rather crunch on toast than a carrot, and as a nation we eat loads more sandwiches than salads – even though most sliced bread is a long way from being actively good for you. And if 70% of each sandwich is bread, that’s a BIG missed opportunity. Huge. So we asked a simple question. What if we could replicate as many of these amazing plant-powers as possible in a delicious loaf? Five years and a lot of loaves later, we finally worked out how to make bread work more like veg. None of this would be much use if it didn’t look, feel, taste and toast exactly like the bread we’re all used to enjoying – rather than, say, broccoli. So we set to work on packing these veg-style superpowers into our best-tasting loaf that comes sliced ready for freezer, toaster and lunchbox. It’s a tasty, friendly mouthful that’s proved equally popular with kids as adults. We called it Superloaf because it’s a loaf with superpowers. You’d never know. BREAD, BUT BETTER.
